LeipsicThe Rev. Janet Lewis-Cattell, 46, died at 7:46 p.m. June 12, 2011, at her residence.She was born Feb. 20, 1965, in Bellefontaine to Carl Eugene and Audry Louise Baughman Overly. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Bellefontaine. On Jan. 15, 1994, she married Brian E. Lewis, who died March 15, 1998. On Oct. 21, 2006, she married Randal L. Cattell, who survives in Leipsic.Rev. Lewis-Cattell was a full elder pastor and member of Leipsic United Methodist Church, Leipsic, and a member of Bellefontaine First United Methodist Church, Bellefontaine. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo and her master's degree in divinity and religious education from the United Theological Seminary, Dayton. She spearheaded the Women of Faith, Revolve for Teenagers and Girlfriends. She participated in Emmaus walks, held various Bible studies, enjoyed sewing and loved cooking and traveling.Survivors also include a daughter, Kelley A. Lewis, of Leipsic; two sisters, Marilyn (Gary) Canes, of Bellefontaine, and Suzann (Clement) Ross, of Richwood; and two brothers, Mark (Melinda) Overly and Charles (Linda) Overly, both of Bellefontaine.Funeral Service will begin 10 a.m. Friday at Leipsic United Methodist Church. Pastor Peter Paige will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Bellefontaine.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday, all at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her daughter's college fund.Condolences can be expressed at www.lovefuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic.
