LimaJean Carol Wright Brown, 77, died at 1:58 p.m. July 8, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System.She was born March 23, 1934, in Paris, Tenn., to Johnny Pritchett and Sally Wright, who preceded her in death. On June 6, 1977, she married Genie Brown, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She accepted Christ at a very early age. She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Nurses Aid Ministry. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved gospel music and fishing.Survivors also include three sons, Danny R. (Jackie) Wright, of Findlay, Michael A. (Debra) Wright, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and James D. (Mary) Wright, of Toledo; a daughter, Phyllis Wright (Edward) Minor, of Lima; two stepsons, Houston (Carolyn) Brown and Tommy Brown, both of Lima; five stepdaughters, Bobbie Tisdale, of Lima, and Johnnie (Roy) Gilcrease, Earlean Gales, China Brown and Elaine Brown, all of Columbus; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and her very special friend, Dora M. Ward, of Lima.She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Pittman; a brother, James Garrett; and a grandson, Michael Anthony Wright Jr.Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. B. LaMont Monford Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
