fort wayne, Ind.Earl R. Moser, 98, died April 15, 2011, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Ind. He was born in Fort Wayne to Martin and Emma Moser, who preceded him in death. He married Iva B. Moser, who preceded him in death.Mr. Moser worked as an accountant with Franklin National Life for 14 years before retiring March 31, 1983. He also had worked for U.S. Rubber and Fort Wayne City Utilities. He was a member and ordained deacon at Salem United Church of Christ, Wayne Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite 32, past Noble Grand for Odd Fellows, president of Anthony Wayne Toastmasters and National Association of Accountants. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran receiving five Bronze Stars. Survivors include four children, Sharon (Max) Johnson, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Ralph Moser of New Haven, Ind., Norman (Jane) Moser, of Lima, and Edward Moser, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Vera Tracey, of Kokomo, Ind.; and several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and two stepgrandchildren. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Pastor Michael Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
