BlufftonDoloris E. Hemry, 77, died at 8:18 p.m. March 27, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center.She was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Columbus Grove to Jesse Franklin and Laura Marie Hartman Mumea, who preceded her in death. On July 5, 1963, she married Roger L. Hemry, who died May 1, 1998.Mrs. Hemry was a member of North Shore Animal League, the Sierra Club and Feature Films for Families. She was a member of Tri-County Family Assembly of God, Bluffton. She wrote poetry and short stories. She loved music, dancing and especially spending time with her family.Survivors include four sons, Dennis (Rose) Dearth, of Bradenton, Fla., Donald Dearth, of Bluffton, Roger (Sandra) Hemry, of Portland Ore., and Vincent (Deb) Hemry, of Bluffton; three daughters, Deborah (Steve) Smith, of Ottawa, Chris (Rick) Lawhorn, of Cloverdale, and Dawn (Ronald) Bailey, of Ottawa; a sister, Pat (Chuck) Dawson, of Spencerville; a brother-in-law, Jack Calvin, of Monroe, Mich.; and 33 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by three sisters, Janice Ilene and Patsy Ruth Mumea and Betty Calvin; a brother, Bill Mumea; and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Dearth.Services will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at Tri-County Family Assembly of God, Bluffton. Pastor Terry Hunt will officiate.Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to Allen or Hancock County animal shelters.Arrangements are by Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
