Veterans groups to move to annex

LIMA — Veterans groups that once met in Memorial Hall will have to move their meetings elsewhere.

Allen County commissioners said Tuesday that nine veterans groups will move their meetings to the old Title Building, also referred to as the “annex” on North Elizabeth Street. Commissioner Jay Begg said that location was the only place the groups “agreed on.”

The building offers occupants heating and cooling, whereas Memorial Hall was equipped for only heat. Begg said the building will also offer a conference room for meetings.
