CEDARVILLE — Nathan Rosenbaum finished runner-up individually in the Division III standings to lead Ohio Northern at the All-Ohio Men’s Cross Country Championships on Friday afternoon at the King Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (65-14 overall) finished sixth of 21 teams with 122 points.
Rosenbaum had a time of 25 minutes, 30.77 seconds in the 8,000 meter race won by Geno Arthur of Oberlin with a time of 24:59.11 in a field which included 284 NCAA Division III runners.
The race featured 569 runners from NCAA Divisions I, II and III and NAIA and Community College schools in Ohio.
John Carroll was the team champion with 95 points. Bluffton finished 14th as a team with Jack Fisher leading the way, finishing 29th (26:38.01).
In the women’s 6,000 meter race, ONU finished ninth of 20 teams.
The Polar Bears (46-34 overall) finished with 255 points in the Division III race won by Mount Union (63).
Senior Samantha Hoffman led ONU across the finish line for the third consecutive week with a 37th place finish out of 256 runners in 24:01 over the sloppy 6,000-meter course.
The race featured 503 runners.
Oberlin’s Emma Lehman was the race winner with a time of 21:41.55. Bluffton finished 18th (506).

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (14-7, 8-1) ran their Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference winning streak to eight with a 25-23, 25-13, 25-23 win over the Cardinals (8-11, 3-7) .
The Racers’ Megan Fullenkamp had16 kills and teammate Chanel Cantere had her 16th double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs. Hailey Rosinski had 34 assists, and Kaitlin Mault picked up 13 digs also for UNOH.
JACKSON, Mich. — The Racers headed north for their final non-conference event of the fall season, taking part in the Spring Arbor University Invitational and finishing second.
Siena Heights won the event with a team score of 350 with the Racers finishing 11 strokes back in a field of seven.
Rebekah Rader shot an 88 to finish sixth.
HARROD — Sophomore Blaine Ricketts fired a 76-78—154 to lead the Ohio Northern men’s golf team to a third place finish at the 2014 Polar Bear Classic at Colonial Golfers Club.
The Polar Bears (19-11 overall) carded a 322-321—643 to finish third out of seven teams on the wet and windy day.
Ricketts earned All-Tournament Team honors with his 10-over par 154 to finish fourth out of 46 golfers, who played 36 holes on Friday on the par-72, 6886-yard course.
Otterbein won the team title with a 617 and Capital was second with a 635.
Kris Clark of Otterbein won medalist honors with a 7-over par 151.
