LIMA — Gas prices are down compared to last week, continuing a downward trend from a month ago, according to OhioGasPrices.com.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Ohio was $3.463 on Monday morning, down from $3.554 a week ago and $3.881 a month ago. It’s also below the $3.654 from a year ago.
It’s also lower than national average of $3.604.
Prices in the area were generally lower than the statewide averages Monday morning. The average prices in Allen County were $3.31 to $3.37 per gallon, according to the website’s gas price heat map.They were even lower in Hardin County, which had prices ranging from $3.25 to $3.31 a gallon. Prices were $3.37 to $3.43 a gallon in Auglaize, Mercer, Putnam and Van Wert counties.
