Police calls as of 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, from the Lima Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office.

800 block of South Nixon Avenue, Lima – A man reported Tuesday someone broke into his home but he wasn’t sure if anything was missing.

1100 block of Crestwood Drive, Lima – A woman reported Tuesday someone stole items from her home.

1000 block of West Wayne Street, Lima – A woman reported Tuesday someone tried to break into her garage.

Michael Avenue and South Pine Street, Lima – A woman reported Tuesday another person pushed her.

1001 Bellefontaine Ave., Lima – Police were called Tuesday to handle an assault report at Lima Memorial Health System. A woman reported her daughter was assaulted at Lima Senior High School.

700 block of South Main Street, Lima – Police were called Tuesday over a deceased person. Someone noticed an odor coming from the home and called police. The dead man inside was found in bed. His body was released to a mortuary.

1400 block of Chestnut Street, Lima – A woman reported Tuesday someone may have fraudulently filed her taxes.

900 block of South Elizabeth Street, Lima – Police were called Tuesday to a home over a dog that bit another dog.
