Wapak man injured in I-75 accident

FINDLAY — A Wapakoneta man suffered injuries Friday when the pickup truck he was driving struck a guardrail along Interstate 75, according to a report with the Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

James Ray Shurlow, 54, who was cited for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain control, was taken by rescue squad to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, the report said.

Shurlow was driving a 2010 Ford F150 south on I-75 near the U.S. 224 exit at 7:18 p.m. Friday when he drove off the right side of the roadway and struck the guardrail.
