Harrod

BRETA F. HALL, 79, died at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 15, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Allen County to Chester A. and Elizabeth M. Hinkle McGinnis, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 26, 1947, she married Roger E. Hall, who survives in Harrod.

Mrs. Hall had been an administrative assistant at Indian Lake Manor, Lakeview, and had also worked at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton. She was a long time member of Harrod Christian Church, and its Women's Fellowship. She also attended Harrod United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors also include two sons, Tim (Diane) Hall of Lafayette and Roger Kim (Anna) Hall of Hughesville, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Carol Slagle of Harrod; five grandchildren, Bryan Hall of Harrod, Zachary Hall of Sedalia, Mo., Frank Hall of Hughesville, Mo., Bethany Fricke of Elida and Brenda Miller of Columbus; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Craig N. Hall, who died Aug. 6, 2006; two brothers, Wilbur and Larry McGinnis; and a sister, Janice Lacock.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Pastor Roger Emerson will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
