Carmen M. Thuma, 83, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., formerly of Lima, died Feb. 6, 2008, of natural causes.
She married Dr. James Jackson Thuma, who survives in Wesley Chapel, Fla.
She was a native of Havana, Cuba. She was a graduate of Ohio Northern University, Ada. She was an avid golfer and had won the Shawnee Country Club Golf Championship.
Survivors also include four daughters, Dr. Lynn Posenke, of Springfield, Mo., Leslie Gordon, of Lima, Laurie Johnson of Youngtown, Ariz., and Lisa Ferrante, of Sanong, N.J.; two sons, James Thuma, of Fayetteville, Ark., and John Thuma, of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Affordable Cremations, North Fort Myers, Fla.
