CONNIE YVETTE "CON CON" JONES, 40, died at 5:57 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, in a car accident.
She was born July 31, 1966, in Lima, to Robert O. and Nancy E. Ward Jones. Her father survives in Lima. Her mother, Nancy E. Wilkerson, and stepfather, Charlie Wilkerson, survive in Lima.
Miss Jones was an associate at Honda of America in Anna for 18 years. She was also a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a member of Cornerstone Harvest Church where she was a team captain for Soul Winners and a Moms Club leader. She was also active in Black Achievers. She was a 2006 graduate of University of Northwestern Ohio.
Survivors also include a son, Thomas M. Jones of Lima; a brother, Michael (Carmen) Jones of Lima; four stepbrothers, Charles B. (Pat) Wilkerson Sr., James Wilkerson, Anthony (Brenda) Wilkerson and Kevin (Jennifer) Wilkerson, all of Lima; a sister, Alicia (Gregory Sr.) Anderson of Lima; and two stepsisters, Pamela (Lorin) Coefield of Decatur, Ga., and Patricia Wilkerson of Ellenwood, Ga.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark O. Jones; paternal grandparents, Jerry W. Jones II and Mary Jones; and maternal grandfather, Wiley Garner.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Harvest Church. The Rev. David Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Harvest Church Life Center.
