ERNEST BALDRIDGE, 84, of Estero, Fla., formerly of Lima, died Feb. 11, 2007, at his residence.
He was born April 4, 1922, in East Point, Ky. His wife of 62 years, Mary Pat Baldridge, survives.
Mr. Baldridge was a claims manger for Westfield Insurance Co. in Lima and Columbus, for 33 years. He studied law at the University of Kentucky and The Ohio State University. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an excellent carpenter and mechanic. In his later years, he became very skilled with computers.
Survivors also include three children, Betty Schuster, of Hansville, Wash., Teri (Philip) Kozsey, of North Royalton, and James (Sue) Baldridge, of Dayton; a sister, Janet Taylor, of Columbus; a brother, Jack (Ernestine) Baldridge, of Rock Island, Ill.; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Naples Memorial Gardens, Naples, Fla.
