Alma Brenneman, 86, died at 10 a.m. Jan. 24, 2009, at Primrose Retirement.
She was born July 28, 1922, in Elida to Jacob and Martha Jones Huber, who preceded her in death. In 1942, she married Robert Brenneman.
Mrs. Brenneman was a housewife. She was a farm wife who spent 65 years on the same farm. She was a member of Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren and also attended First United Presbyterian Church, Delphos. She enjoyed bowling, and sending and receiving cards. She loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Gary (Jeanie) Brenneman, of Kalispell, Mont.; two daughters, Gloria (Randy) Bowersock, of Middle Point, and Cheryl (Chuck) Casey, of Elida; two sisters, Edna Ritchie, of Boise, Idaho, and Becky (Dick) Barrett, of Santa Ana, Calif.; three sisters-in-law, Monie Huber, Bertha Huber and Gini Huber; six grandchildren, Wesley (Joan) Brenneman, Nicole (Micah) Hill, Rodney (Karla) Bowersock, Troy (Tonya) Bowersock, Trevor Miller and Chad (Betty) Miller; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Robinson and Fern Wilkins; and four brothers, Lawerence, Ralph, Art and Herman Huber.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. Marty Moyer will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
