LIMA - Lima police investigators continue to search for clues and a suspect after a Lima psychologist was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday evening.
Jerry Zimmerman, 64, was robbed in the parking lot behind his office, Practice of Clinical Psychology, 1000 W. Market St., around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. Jim Baker said.
"The detectives are following up on it right now," Baker said. "He was just leaving at the end of the day and got robbed."
The suspect was described as a black man in his early to mid-20s, about 6 feet tall, Baker said. According to the police report, the man robbed Zimmerman of more than $100 in cash, a traveler's check worth $50, credit cards, his driver license and a cell phone.
Zimmerman was not hurt during the incident, Baker said.
"At this point that's really all we have," Baker said.
