Loretta Ruth Early, 84, died at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 1, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Hamler to Glenn and Frances Yetter Christman, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 23, 1949, she married Howard Early, who died Jan. 12, 1993.
Mrs. Early was a homemaker. She was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle.
Survivors include a son, Dale Early, of Ohio; a daughter, Betty (Jaron) Budd, of Lima; a brother, Bob Christman, of Hamler; two sisters, Lila (Lowell) Bass, of Ada, and Doris (Chuck) Ferner, of Green Valley, Ariz.; two daughters-in-law, Dawn Early and Denise Early, both of Lima; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Allison, Jessica, Melanie, Darrell, Gloria, Brian and Christopher; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Howard I. and Glenn E. Early; two brothers, John and Jim Christman; a grandson, Michael Budd; and two sisters-in-law, Eloise and LaDonna Christman.
Graveside services will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Marcus Brown will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
