ELENORE H. PHALEN CRAFT, 87, died at 8:27 a.m. Sept. 12, 2005, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.

She was born March 24, 1918, in Lima to Patrick H. and Ada P. Eisenhart Phalen, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 5, 1944, she married Emil Joseph Craft, who died Dec. 21, 1996.

Mrs. Craft was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, her flower garden and music.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Lee Craft of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Christine Carole (Ronald) Wattercutter of Wapakoneta; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Demaris Klausing of Lima.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Patrick, Alfred, Arthur and Richard Phalen; and two sisters, Alice Makin and Lola Sampson.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. The Rev. Henry Albietz will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
