JAMES G. ANSLEY, 52, died at 1:25 a.m. Oct. 31, 2006, at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
He was born Sept. 5, 1954, in Kenton to James Welsh and Ardie Margaret Crawford Ansley, who preceded him in death. On July 12, 1980, he married Annette Ralston, who survives in Kenton.
Mr. Ansley was an attorney with Reed, Ansley & Neville. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Hardin County Bar Association, a former member of the Kiwanis Club and had served as treasurer for the Red Cross. He graduated in 1976, with honors, from Eastern Kentucky University, and was a 1979 graduate of Ohio Northern University, Ada, with a Juris Doctorate. He was friendly, outgoing, honest and had a sense of humor. He had a keen love of history and automobiles. He was an animal lover, loved pet dogs and cherished his family and friends. He was love and respected by his family and will be missed.
Survivors also include a son, Douglas Ansley of Kenton; a daughter, Laura Ansley of Kenton; two sisters, Jean Hamilton of Lima and Joan (Jerry) Cox of Edison; his mother-in-law, Janet Ralston of Kenton; a brother-in-law, Jeff Ralston of Kenton; and four nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Dell Ansley.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. William Koppert and Pastor Mary Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
