A. PHILIP "MICK" TREGLIA, 75, died at 7 a.m. Sept. 13, 2005, at Otterbein Care Center, Cridersville.

He was born May 21, 1930, in Lima to Fillipo and Maria Salterelli Treglia, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 14, 1951, he married R. JoAnne Hefner, who survives.

Mr. Treglia retired in 1981 as plant superintendent from Sheller-Globe Corp. Superior Coach Division. He had also worked at Joe Iverson Chevrolet. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Lima. He was a 1949 graduate of Lafayette-Jackson High School. He was an Army veteran serving as a first sergeant with the 211th Engineering Battalion in Korea from 1951 to 1952. He was a devoted husband and father.

Survivors also include five daughters, Julia (Michael) Rex of Harrod, Patricia (Ronald) Wheeland of Urbana, Linda Thayer of Lafayette, Mary (Keith) Smith of Spencerville and Ann (John) Deerhake of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren, Jared (Shannon) Rex of Harrod, Jeremy (Sharon) Wheeland of St. Paris, Jennifer (Matt) Keeler of Columbus Grove, Rachael (Nathan) Redmond of Harrod, Melinda (Joshua) Wilson of Urbana, Cara Rex and Amy Deerhake, both of Columbus, Dustin Smith of Dayton and John Deerhake and Adam Thayer, both of Lafayette; Heather Smith of Spencerville, and Benjamin Thayer of Lafayette; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan Rex, Sydney Rex, Micah Rex, all of Harrod, Kirsten Wheeland of St. Paris, Luke Redmond of Harrod and Jadon Wilson and Jaren Wilson, both of Urbana; and two brothers, Tony Treglia of Lafayette and Frank S. Treglia of Lima.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Benedict Treglia; and a son-in-law, Douglas Thayer.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Lima. Father Bill Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp-Weber Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rhodes State College Scholarship Fund.
