Fannie Elizabeth Glendore Secession Robinson, 82, died at 12:37 p.m. April 2, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Belzoni, Miss., to Adam and Alberta Green Custom, who preceded her in death. In 1940, she married Sammy Secession Sr., who died in 1989. Her special friend and close companion, James Lewis, survives.

Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and had operated a mom and pop candy store in Hollindale, Miss., for several years. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Hollindale, Miss.

Survivors include five sons, John A. (Amy) Secession, Sammy L. Secession Jr., J.D. (Barbara) Secession, Edward D. Secession and Sylvester Secession, all of Lima; three daughters, Mary Mays, Fannie J. Powell and Dora D. Secession, all of Lima; 55 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Danny (Erma) Savannah, of Hollindale, Miss.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Jerry L., Marvin and Henry A. Secession; and a sister, Ethel Jones.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Austin Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
