Robert J. Inkrott, 83, died at 9:04 a.m. July 23, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born June 15, 1924, in New Cleveland to Edward and Regina Bellman Inkrott, who preceded him in death. On May 15, 1946, he married Alma Jean Ziegler, who survives in Miller City.
Mr. Inkrott had worked at E.J. Meyer & Sons Construction, for 40 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1757 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9142, both in Ottawa, and American Legion Post 172 and the Miller City Sportsman Club, both in Miller City. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors also include two sons, Daniel (Bonnie) Inkrott and John (Pat) Inkrott, both of Ottawa; two daughters, Janet Kreinbrink, of Swanton, and Joyce (Larry Hughes) Inkrott, of Berkeley, Calif.; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Eugene, Norbert, Arthur and Wilbert Inkrott; and a great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City. Father Robert DeSloover will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military rites by American Legion Post 172 and VFW Post 9142.
There will be no visitation.
