Kevin Gerard Miller, 54, died at 2:55 a.m. May 4, 2010, at Lost Creek Care Center.
He was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Lima to Walter and Rita Kirwan Miller, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Miller had a deep appreciation and love for his family. He attended Marimor Workshop and had worked at Better Brake Parts. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where he was an usher, a Eucharistic minister and was a volunteer for its programs. He was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 2661.
Survivors include six siblings, John (Barbara) Miller, of West Chester, Daniel K. (Deborah) Miller, of New Bern, N.C., Gregory A. (Linda) Miller, of Lima, Sharon R. (David) Cattey and Mary Ann (Mike) Williams, both of Columbus, and Katie (Greg) Chopin, of Wildwood, Mo.; 20 nieces and nephews and several friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Father J. Norbert Howe will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
