Want to show your appreciation to Kent Boyd? You have two ways to do that.

Anna Gibson, a friend of the Boyds, has arranged a Welcome Back rally for the “So You Think You Can Dance” finalist on Monday in Wapakoneta. This is in addition to the previously announced festivities today in Botkins.

The Wapak event will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Harmon Field on Hamilton Road. Gibson said Boyd and his family will be on hand to thank the community for their support during the dance program.

She asked everyone to “bring their Kent signs to show how proud this community is of him.”

Meanwhile, in Botkins, a parade honoring Boyd is scheduled for noon today, with a talk at Botkins High School scheduled for 1 p.m. The dancer is a Botkins High School graduate.
