Leta Irick, 101, of Plymouth, Ind., formerly of Delphos, died at 6:50 a.m. April 16, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth.

She was born Oct. 30, 1906, in Findlay to George and Edith Garns. She married Howard Irick, who died Nov. 19, 1985.

Mrs. Irick had been a practical nurse at the Otterbein Retirement Home. She was a member of United Brethren Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include a son, Robert (Janice) Irick, of Cygnet; two daughters, Norma Jean (David) Good, of Plymouth, Ind., and Marsha (Troy) Pratt, of Danville, Ky.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Church Garns.

Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos. The Rev. David Howell will officiate.

Arrangements are by Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos.
