1. UNOH Event Center

Highlights: The UNOH Event Center, a wholly owned subsidiary of the school, has been open for six years. It serves as a meeting center for the college, but it’s certainly busy with wedding receptions. Some couples are also getting married there. Rental agreements start at $300 and range up to $1,300. Lock Sixteen is the exclusive caterer, and beer must be purchased from the center. Capacity is 650 people in the Presidential Hall.
2. SoSerene, Wapakoneta
Location: 16268 Boundry Road, Wapakoneta
Hours: 9 to 5 p.m. weekdays
Highlights: Mark and Joy Meyer opened SoSerene in 2009 as a wedding venue, and weddings are held there Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, although some are now happening during the week. The outdoor venue with pond and stone columns and statuary provides something different for the region. Couples may choose their own licensed caterer, and they may bring their own alcohol for serving (not selling) at their event. Capacity is 250 people.
3. Knights of Columbus, Lima

Highlights: The 8,100-square-foot venue is celebrating its 10th year in this location. Couples may choose between four caterers on contract: Ann Ross Catering, Casa Lu Al, Milano Café and Old Barn Out Back. Couples must buy drinks from the venue. One plus: Linens, china and silverware are included. Capacity is 425 guests, and the main room can be divided for smaller parties. Eighteen weddings are booked for next year already, so be sure to plan ahead. The phone number reaches the facility coordinator outside of business hours as well.
