CLYDE — The Goofers Golf League met on Wednesday, July 2, at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Clyde.
After nine weeks of play the team of Salisbury/Ripka led the league with 300 total points, 42 earned on Wednesday.
The team of Loparo/DeBlase are currently in second place with 246 points and Risner/Andrews are keeping pace in third place with 243 points.
The fourth place team of Woodruff/Dwyer have 242 points and the fifth place team of Cook/Sassaman round out the top five with 231 points.
The remaining teams and point totals are as follows:
Andrews/Andrews with 219 points; Burns/Schaefer with 217 points; Bollinger/Kreglow with 216 points; Wiedle/Bucklew with 213 points; Gibson/Radloff with 209 points; Conner/Raifsnider with 186 points; and Burns/Loparo with 178 points.
Closest to the creek this week was Tom Raifsnider and Gary Woodruff had the longest putt on hole No. 18.
In the skins this week was Gary Woodruff who birdied holes 10 and 18. Low grass for this week was Mark Bollinger with a 40, Gary Woodruff with a 40 and Joe Risner with a 40.
Closest to the pin was Gary Woodruff and Jim Burns on holes 10 and 15 respectively. Low net was Brett Hogue with a 33.
