BIGLICK TOWNSHIP — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred at 1:54 p.m. Sunday.
According to the report, Kristyn Bishop, 36, of Mount Blanchard, was driving north on state Route 330 in a silver 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan and approached the intersection of state Route 568 to stop. Bishop failed to see a gray 2010 Toyota Camry driven by Maria Kolarik, 50, of Upper Sandusky, traveling west on state Route 568. Bishop preceded into the intersection and struck the driver side of Kolarik’s vehicle. Kolarik’s vehicle went off the right side of the roadway into the ditch before coming back onto the roadway and coming to stop in the middle of the roadway facing southwest.
Kolarik and a passenger, Nancy Kolarik, 79, of Upper Sandusky, were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital and the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. Bishop was treated at the scene and released.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene. The air bags were deployed in Bishop’s vehicle.
The Vanlue Fire Department, Hanco EMS, Lowery’s Towing and Mac & Bob’s Towing assisted at the scene.
