Community support needed

Once again its time to take a stand and support educational purposes for Col.Crawford School & Community, by passing a .5 Mil maintenance levy that will go in effect for 23 years, which is required by the OFCC (Ohio Facilities Construction Commission).

The cost of the project is $6,480,393 which would include the tearing down of the old buildings at Whetstone, Sulphur Springs, and the Middle School in North Robinson, and a part of the Col.Crawford High School. This project will also include the addition of the new High School Wing that was not done when the K-8 was done.

Removal of all the old school buildings will eliminate a health hazard of Asbestos used in building many years ago. Added security like is at the K-8 wings will be added for the safety of the high school students. The cost to the Col. Crawford Community would only be $31,014 and our School Board has wisely saved money to get the project done.

An open INFORMATIVE meeting will be held Monday, April 28 at 6 p.m at Wm-Hannah School Cafatorium to answer any questions, etc.

We are so fortunate to have Excellent Administrative Leaders, School board members, Qualified caring teachers, who do an excellent job teaching our students, our Coaches who bring out leaders in all sports, our Bus drivers who safely transport the students to and from school., Athletic Association working behind the scenes providing money & help.

Remembering a few years ago when we had a faction trying to divide the community, A special Prayer meeting was held in the school parking lot with over 2,000 people attending. It was a warm night, NO wind, the large red, white & Blue Flag hung limply on the flag pole. The Prayer service ended letting Satan know he was not going to win this round. A very STIFF strong wind blew and unfurled that huge FLAG over the crowd , letting us know our prayers were heard and all would be well, with our HEAVENLY FATHER watching over us.

Let us now go VOTE on May 6th and know our Heavenly Father is still watching over us and showing us the right way to vote. Giving our thanks for his Watchfulness over our community.

An Education Supporter,

Marge Gledhill
