NORWALK — Ohio Supreme Court justices Sharon Kennedy and Judith French are the keynote speakers for the Huron County GOP’s 2014 Lincoln-Reagan Dinner set for Thursday, March 20 in Norwalk.
The dinner will be held at the Norwalk Eagles Club, 151 Cline St., with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program and dinner at 6 p.m. The annual event is being sponsored by the Huron County Republican Women’s Club.
Both Kennedy and French are Ohio Supreme Court candidates in the November general election.
Kennedy has served on the court since December 2012.
She began her career in the justice system as a police officer for the City of Hamilton. Prior to serving on the supreme court, she was the administrative judge for the Butler County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division.
French was appointed to the supreme court by Gov. John Kasich in December 2012. Before her appointment, she served on Ohio’s Tenth District Court of Appeals.
She began her public service in 1993 as deputy director for legal affairs at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
