ROYALTON TWP. – A woman found dead Saturday morning in a Fulton County field has been identified as Brandi Gonyer-Boaston of Holland, Ohio, the sheriff’s office reported Sunday.
Her body was discovered by hunters at about 7:41 a.m. in a parked, running vehicle in a field located on County Road N between County Road 8 and State Route 109.
Gonyer-Boaston had been reported to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office as a missing person the same day, after she failed to pick up her child.
Her death has been labeled “suspicious” by investigators. The cause of death is pending autopsy results from the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
No other details have been released.
