OTTAWA HILLS- Archbold boys soccer overcame a one goal deficit in the first half and defeated Maumee Valley Country Day 3-1 in the district semi-final Tuesday night.

The Streaks were led by Brodie Nofziger’s two goals, one of which was assisted by Jacob Ott who had the only assist of the game for Archbold. Their defense limited the Hawks to only four shots on goal, and goalie Emerson Radabaugh had three saves.

Jeremy Anderson had the Hawks lone goal and their goalie Joey Osthimer stopped five shots.

The Streaks advance to its second consecutive district final and will play Saturday at 3 p.m. against Ottawa Hills. The matchup features a rematch of last year’s regional semi-final.
