Putnam County Common Pleas Court



The Putnam County Grand Jury issued the following indictments on Friday.



Jason T. Adams, 31, 524 W. Lima St., Findlay; rape.



Robert M. Montgomery, 49, 1398 County Road 1, Deshler; illegal assembly of chemicals, illegal manufacture of drugs, and possession of drugs.



Randolph Kinder, 44, 401 E. Cherry St., North Baltimore; illegal assembly of chemicals, and illegal manufacture of drugs.



David A. Rettig, 43, 4549 County Road E, Lot 5, Delta; illegal manufacture of drugs.



Angela M. Padilla, 23, 1567 S. Clinton St., Defiance, Apt. 4B; identity fraud.



Christine M. Wilson, 49, 1471 Township Road 92, McComb; theft.



Dispositions/May 1



The Ottoville Bank Company was granted a foreclosure judgment against Sandra S. Taylor, Continental, and Rodney E. Taylor, Continental, in the amount of $402,737.22, plus interest and costs.



Dispositions/May 6



Keith A. Bair, 27, 15336 County Road A, Bryan, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for theft (over $1,000). He was ordered to pay $5,870 in restitution to the victims.



Bank of America, Plano, Texas, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Michael Cervantes, Leipsic, in the amount of $57,694.79, plus interest and costs.



Dispositions/May 7



JP Morgan Chase, Irving, Texas, was granted a foreclosure judgment against David J. Bauman, Pandora, and Misty D. Bauman, Pandora, in the amount of $58,530.33, plus interest and costs.



Jodi L. Williams, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Michael A. Williams, Ottawa. They were married Dec. 10, 2004 in Pandora, and have no children.



Dispositions/May 8



Quinton C. Schmenk, 30, 405 S. Thomas St., Ottawa, was sentenced to 10 days jail for failure to pay child support. He was found in arrears in the amount of $8,978.89 as of April 30, 2013. The sentence was suspended provided he remains current in his payments and seeks work.



Joe A. Velasquez, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Larrisa E. Velasquez, Defiance. They were married March 4, 2011, and have one child.



Heather E. Santos, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Thomas A. Santos, Leipsic. They were married Sept 4, 2010, and they have no children.



Dispositions/May 9



Christie L. Kerner, 36, 207 Broadway St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to two counts forgery. She faces up to 24 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1 p.m. June 5.

Shawnda M. Metzger, Fort Jennings, v. Alan J. Metzger, Fort Jennings; divorce with children.



Putnam County Municipal Court



Dispositions/May 2



Tony C. Adams, 55, 10836 Road 191, Oakwood, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $750 fine, one-year license suspension, with 174 days jail and $375 suspended and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program.



Joshua D. Turnwald, 19, 707 E. Main St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to underage possession. Sentence: 180 days jail, $250 fine, with 177 days jail suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program. He was also fined $50 for reckless operation and a speeding charge was dismissed.



Dispositions/May 6



Alex J. Rosengarten, 18, 1570 N. Perry St., Lot 66, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $750 fine, with $375 and 177 days jail suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program.



Joshua D. Buckland, 18, 12924 Road 8-L, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to negligent assault and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, $150 fine, with 30 days jail suspended, complete firearms safety course, and perform 24 hours community service. Firearm was forfeited.



Joshua A. Verhoff, 22, 14988 Road K-14, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to second-offense OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $1,000 fine, two-year license suspension, with 160 days jail and $475 suspended and complete alcohol assessment. Charges of failure to display and stop sign were dismissed.



Dispositions/May 7



Dustin B. Zizelman, 28, 130 North Drive, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to falsification. Sentence: 180 days jail, $250 fine, with 180 days jail suspended. He was also fined $150 for no operator license.



Robert Bartley, 41, 30705 Staydley Road, Holgate, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $1,000 fine, five-year license suspension, with 60 days jail and $475 suspended, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.



Joshua W. Cox, 28, 10551 Buckeye Drive, Huntsville, pleaded guilty to second-offense OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, $525 fine, five-year license suspension, with 135 days jail suspended, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.
