LIMA - The West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium will offer its basic manufacturing pathway class from May 6 to May 22 at Rhodes State College. The 40-hour class will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Those interested in the free class can call 419-995-8353 by May 3.
The class covers manufacturing-related skills in basic math, quality and safety; workplace skills such as teamwork; and includes resume writing and financial aid application help. Completing the course successfully earns a skills certification and makes participants eligible for more training and referrals for employment to consortium members.
The course is free because of a Community Development Block Grant from the city of Lima.
