LIMA — Norman Edwin Good, 84, formerly of Elida, died at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 13, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Elida to Menno and Eunice Diltz Good, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 22, 1951, he married Alice Brubaker, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Good served in the Army from 1951 until 1953 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Elida High School and had worked as a general laborer around the Lima area.
Survivors include four sons, Donald Good, of Atlanta, Michael Good and Timothy Good, both of Continental, and Randy Good, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a brother, LaVerne Good, of Leo, Ind., and a sister, Elouise King, of Elida.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Beulah and Charlene Good; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Alvardo; a sister-in-law, Alverta Good; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Good.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Salem Mennonite Cemetery, Elida, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. The Rev. David Elkins will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
