GomerTamara â??Tammyâ?ť Jack, 52, died at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 18, 2011, from injuries suffered in an auto accident.She was born April 9, 1959, to Walter B. and Shirley A. Arnette. Her father survives in Delphos. Her mother preceded her in death. In September 1991, she married Steve Jack, who survives in Gomer.Mrs. Jack retired in 2008, as an account clerk supervisor from the Allen Correctional Institute. She was a 1977 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School, where she was a member of the band, a cheerleader, played three sports and was involved in class plays. She enjoyed gardening and loved fishing and riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed volunteering at St. Peter Lutheran Church.Survivors include a son, Sgt. John (Amber) Becket, of Mountain Home, Idaho; three sisters, Michelle Renee Nagel, of Byron, Ill., Tara (Roger) Kaverman, of Elida, and Tracy (Jeff) Krendl, of Fort Jennings; a stepson, Sgt. Adam (Jesse) Jack, of Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Amanda Jack, of Cridersville; her father- and mother-in-law, Robert â??Bobâ?ť and Joan Jack, of Elida; a sister-in-law, Laurie Jack, of Dayton; and nine nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Richard Nagel; a sister-in-law, Sue E. Jack; a nephew, Christopher Nagel; and an uncle, Bill Vandemark.Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Delphos. The Rev. Angela Khabeb will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton.Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
