LimaNorma J. ‚??Jeanie‚?Ě Kihm, 79, died at 1:03 p.m. June 13, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center.She was born June 23, 1931, in Lima to Howard T. and Edith Dempster Iiames, who preceded her in death. On June 2, 1951, she married Albert J. ‚??Bud‚?Ě Kihm, who survives in Lima.Mrs. Kihm was a homemaker. She was a life member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She was proud to have celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary with her husband earlier this month. She was never one to sit around. She enjoyed traveling and making day trips wither husband. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. She was know for making the best mayonnaise cakes. She never knew a stranger. She loved shopping for her granddaughter and spoiling her with clothes or whatever she wanted. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be deeply missed her family and friends.Survivors also include a son, Greg Kihm, of Lima; a granddaughter, Mikayla Kihm, of Lima; three brothers-in-law, David (Marilyn) Kihm, of Bluffton, Tom (Nell) Kihm, of Arizona, and Daniel (Julie) Kihm, of Tipp City; several nieces and nephews including, Danielle (Steve) Laing, of Columbus Grove, and Brent (Marie) Kihm, of Ottawa; and four great-nieces and -nephews, Abigail, Spencer, Tyler and Amber.Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church.
