FORT JENNINGS — Sara Lininger scored on a header past the keeper and Kayla Boysell nailed a shot through traffic from 20 yards out as the St. Marys girls soccer team beat Fort Jennings 2-0 in a non-league match Monday.



Both goals were late in the second half. Carrie Schlater assisted on the Lininger goal.



St. Marys keeper Paige Dicus made three saves. Musketeers keeper Kelsey VonLehmden had one save.



Boys Soccer



Indian Lake 9, Fairlawn 1



SIDNEY — Trevor Sesher and Dylan Stites each had two goals as Indian Lake punished Fairlawn. The Lakers (6-7-2) out-shot Fairlawn 50-11.



Van Wert 3, Spencerville 0



SPENCERVILLE — Tyler Money had two goals and Daniel Thompson another as Van Wert won in a non-league match. Cougars keepers Josiah McNulty had eight saves and Joe Moonshower another three.



Spencerville keeper Zach Gay had seven stops.



Bath 2, Marion Harding 0



MARION — Marion Harding didn’t record a shot on goal, making this an easy match for the Wildcats. Logan Rockhold and Jason Lauf scored for Bath (9-4-1).



Volleyball



Kalida 3, Columbus Grove 1



COLUMBUS GROVE — Kalida survived a tight Putnam County League match with a win 25-18, 26-24, 23-25, 25-22. It gave Wildcats coach Jeremy Stober his 200th career win.



Emily Turnwald had 23 kills and five aces for Kalida (9-10, 3-2 PCL).



Steph Etzkorn had 29 digs for Grove.



Wayne Trace 3, Delphos Jefferson 0



HAVILAND — Wayne Trace swept Jefferson in a non-league match, 25-22, 25-14, 25-22.



Miller City 3, Patrick Henry 0



HAMLER — Toni Steffan had nine kills and four blocks for Miller City, and Emily Doster had 14 assists and two digs as the Wildcats won 25-22, 25-15, 25-13. Courtney Niese had seven kills, two aces and two digs.



Miller City improved to 7-13, and Patrick Henry fell to 14-5.



New Knoxville 3, Lincolnview 0



NEW KNOXVILLE — Nikki Shreve had 13 digs and two aces, and Paige Lehman had 14 kills as New Knoxville won 25-19, 25-13, 25-23. The Rangers are 10-10.
