WAPAKONETA -- A rollover accident in Auglaize County killed one and injured two others early Sunday, the Ohio State Highway Patrolís Wapakoneta post said.
The patrol said Nicholas N. Hardin Jr., 24, of Waynesfield, lost control of a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck while he was driving east on Middle Pike four miles west of Bachman Road. The truck went off the right side of the road and hit a concrete culvert, went airborne and overturned. Hardin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The post said two passengers, Gregory C. Hicks Jr., 24, of New Hampshire, and Craig A. Long, 24, of Waynesfield, were taken to St. Ritaís Medical Center. Long was treated, then released. The hospital had no record of Hicks on Sunday night.
The patrol said none of the three men was wearing a seat belt.
