LEIPSIC -- Continental pulled away in the final quarter to notch a 45-34 victory over Leipsic. The Pirates led Leipsic 33-28 after three quarters before outscoring the Vikings 12-6 in the final quarter.    Sarah Spitnale scored 12 points with seven rebounds for the Pirates. Rachelle Ford had 11 and six rebounds. Kayla Nuveman led Leipsic with 11 points.    Continental is 11-4, 4-1 in the Putnam County League. Leipsic is 10-4, 3-2 in the PCL. Shawnee 46, LCC 41    Shawnee put together a balanced scoring attack to knock off Lima Central Catholic in a non-league girls basketball game Saturday at LCC.    Samantha Robison and Molly Thompson both scored nine points for Shawnee. Robison had three 3-pointers. Megan Ream and Paige Heistan both scored eight for the Indians.    Liz DePalma paced LCC with 10 points.    Shawnee is 7-7. LCC is 7-5. New Bremen 47 St. Marys 46    Michelle Griesdorn hit a shot with five seconds left to lift New Bremen to a victory over St. Marys.    St. Marys had taken the lead with 10 seconds left on a shot by Kori Howell, but Griesdorn responded with the game-winning shot.    Griesdorn led the Cardinals with 14 points. LeAnn Topp scored nine points with three 3-pointers.    Emily Shellabarger paced the Roughriders with 16 points. St. Marys is 9-5. New Bremen is 10-4.  Kalida 46, Lincolnview 41 (OT)  Gina Verhoff scored 15 points and Ashley Heitmeyer added 14 to power Kalida past Lincolnview. Lauren Evans paced the Lancers with 17 points. Brittany Katalenas scored 11. Trisha Horstman had four points and 13 rebounds for Kalida, which outrebounded Lincolnview, 40-26. Kalida is 7-7, while Lincolnview is 8-5.  Elida 54, Coldwater 47 (OT)  Haley Brown scored 18 points to guide Elida to an overtime victory over Coldwater. Chelsy Simpson added 12 points for the Bulldogs (5-8). Marla Hess led the Cavaliers with 16 points. Elida led 26-19 at the half, but Coldwater outscored Elida 14-3 in the third quarter to take a 33-29 lead. Elida came back to tie the game at 43 at the end of regulation. Coldwater is 2-10. Allen East 57, Waynesfield 41 Allen East’s Joy Roberson tossed in 16 points, with a pair of 3-pointers, to power the Mustangs over Waynesfield. Ashley Conkle added 12 points with two 3-pointers for Allen East. Kym Bowsher scored 11. Brittany Lament led Waynesfield with 21 points. Brooke Shaw scored nine. Allen East is 5-6. Waynesfield is 4-9. Columbus Grove 68 Miller City 54    Jodi Birkemeier scored 11 points and Courtney Diller added 10 to help Columbus Grove knock off Miller City.    Jessica Schnipke led Miller City with 19 points. Ashley Schroeder scored 13.    Columbus Grove is 7-5, 2-3 in the Putnam County League. Miller City is 3-11, 0-5 in the PCL.    Miller City trailed by 22 in the third quarter, but came back to cut the margin to eight. Columbus Grove was able to pull away at the foul line. Ottoville 54, Minster 38    Ottoville had four girls in double figures in a non-league victory at Minster.    Tricia Honingford paced the Big Green with 14 points, with four 3-pointers. Krystal Markward scored 13, while Britt Pohlman scored 12. Gina Beining scored 11.    Delanie Wolf led Minster with 10 points.    Ottoville is 12-1. Minster stands 8-6. Pandora-Gilboa 43, Bluffton 37    Stephanie Recker and Taylor Hermiller led the Rockets (9-3) with a combined 23 points. Recker led all scorers with 12 and Hermiller had 11.    Jonica Schmutz paced Bluffton (9-5) with 9.  ----- Boys Basketball Ada 74, Cory-Rawson 21    The Bulldog defense only allowed two scorers for Cory-Rawson. They also pitched a third-quarter shutout, holding the Hornets scoreless.    Zac Dysert led all scorers with 27 points for Ada (8-1). John Erford led Cory-Rawson (1-11) with 16. Liberty-Benton 72, Ottoville 56    Aaron Craft led Liberty-Benton with 25 points in an easy win over the Big Green. Ottoville only trailed by six at halftime before Liberty-Benton (12-0) went on a 19-9 run in the third quarter.    Brad Turnwald led the Big Green (4-8) with 13 points. Teammate Jacob Landin had 12 and Keith Pohlman finished with 11. Coldwater 63, Perry 46    Ryan Geier paced the Cavaliers with his team-high 18 points. He was one of three Coldwater players to score in double figures.    Eric Lefeld and Kurt Riethman each had 10 points for Coldwater (5-4).    Devonaire Johnson led all scorers with 19 for Perry (4-9). Kalida 57, Columbus Grove 42    Justin Kahle broke up a tie game with a 3-pointer for Kalida (6-4) at the end of the third quarter. The momentum carried into the fourth, where the Wildcats went on a 22-10 run.    Kalida’s Jordan Basinger led all scorers with 19 points and Kahle finished with 10.    Garret Wolfe led the Bulldgos with 17. Toledo St. Francis 50, Elida 45    The Bulldogs jumped to a 22-16 lead in the first quarter, but was then outscored the rest of the game. Bo Mathias scored a game-high 17 points for Elida (4-8), including three 3-pointers.    Kevin Herny led St. Francis with 12. Delphos Jefferson 62 Miller City 42    Craig Carder led the Wildcats with 14 points and teammate Matthew Antalis had 12.    Delphos Jefferson (8-4) went on an 17-6 run in the first quarter and then held Miller City to just four points in the second quarter.    Kyle Niese led Miller City (5-7) with 10 points and four rebounds. Parkway 66, Temple 57    Derik Snyder and Josh Fisher combined for 54 of the Panthers’ 66 points. Snyder had a game-high 33 points with nine rebounds and Fisher added 21 points with 10 rebounds and two steals.    Clayton Leimeister led Temple with 26 points. New Bremen 49, Covington 30    The Cardinals held Covington to just one field goal in the third quarter. Scott Schnelle led New Bremen with 14 points, nine of them in the second half. Minster 61, Wapakoneta 38    Four different scorers finished in double figures for Minster. Logan Sommer led the Wildcats with 20 points and seven rebounds. Andrew Baumer had 14 points, Joby Stechschulte had 11 and Keith Nerderman finished 10.    Drew Golden led the Redskins with 15 points and eight rebounds.
