Delphos



WILLIAM E. "BIL" STOSE, 45, died at 7:55 p.m. Aug. 5, 2005, in Williams County in a motorcycle crash.



He was born Sept. 20, 1959, in Van Wert, to Richard Stose of Delphos and Mary Jane (Willis) Watkins of Fort Jennings. On May 29, 1993, he married Stacey (Michael) Stose, who survives.



Mr. Stose worked for Bucket Construction. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, adored his children, loved non-conformity, was a great artist, painter, singer and enjoyed fishing. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in Turkey and Korea.



Survivors also include a son, Dane Stose of Fort Jennings; two daughters, Samantha and Mackenzie Stose of Delphos; three sisters, Kay (Larry) Hoersten of Delphos, Jann (Jim) Bonifas of Landeck and June (Joe) Rode of Delphos; a brother, Dirk (Eva) Stose of Sullivan; sisters- in-law, Kathy (Mike) Essman of Yellow Springs, Maria (Larry) Klaus of Landeck, Sadie Michael (Lisa Borelli) of Columbus, Natalie (Glynn) Horton of Savanna, Ga., Elaine (Matt) Moyer of Venedocia; mother- and father-in-law, Marlin and Ruth Michael; and many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.



Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Goodwin Cemetery in Elgin where the Delphos Veterans Council will conduct a military graveside service.



Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.



Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a college fund for his girls.
