KENTON - The Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol handled a two-vehicle accident Thursday south of Kenton that sent one to the hospital.

At 11 a.m. Larry Roose, 70, of Lima, was driving a commercial truck north on County Road 75 when he stopped at the intersection of state Route 67. Upon driving into the intersection, Roose struck a westbound propane truck, driven by Sterling J. Brown, 58, of Ada. Roose was treated for minor injuries at the scene, while Brown, after stating that he had pain in his back, was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center. Brown also had minor injuries, including a cut to his forehead.

Roose was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign as a result of the crash.
